The Fountain's 29 Sportfish Cruiser features a variety of gas or diesel V-8 propulsion systems. Low-speed maneuverability is excellent and the award-winning Positive Lift running surface is precise and well balanced, and owners will appreciate the amazing fuel efficiency. If anglers are on the lookout for sailfish, dolphin, tuna or wahoo, the 29 is the perfect catch. Whether boating on the Great Lakes, Lake of the Ozarks or in coastal waters, the 29 has one of the widest, longest platforms for fishing in this size range. In fact, the entire area from the swivel bucket seats aft is left unrestricted for casting and reeling them in. Padded gunwales add much-needed toe room and will prove a real plus over boats with flat sidewalls. There is also room on either side of the engine hatch cover for access all the way to the transom and onto the convenient swim platform. A large 180-quart fish storage locker is positioned under the driver's seat. Opposite, a large 45-gallon circulating livewell is standard, as is a custom half tower complete with an overhead electronics locker and three-piece canvas enclosure. Foredeck access for handling lines or casting nets is sure-footed on the non-skid walkways and there are grab handles on the half-tower for added security. On the bow, a heavy-duty 316L stainless rail adds safety and convenience. The dinette area converts to a sleeping area for two. The galley features an ice box, cabinet and sink. Rod holders are neatly positioned along the cabin sidewalls.
